SsangYong XLV is a five-seat crossover with front or all-wheel drive, which is an extended version of the model. Tivoli. World Premiere XLV took place in March 2016 at the Geneva Motor Show, and Ukrainian prices were announced in July 2017. Compared to the Tivoli, the overall length of the five-door is increased by 238 mm (up to 4440 mm), although the wheelbase - 2600 mm - has not changed. As a result of this transformation, the volume of the trunk with raised backrests of the second row seats has increased from 423 to 720 liters.
The Korean crossover is equipped with a 1.6L e-XGi160 gasoline engine (power 128 hp, maximum torque 160 Nm) and a 1.6L e-XDi160 diesel turbo engine (115 hp, 300 Nm). Transmissions: six-speed "mechanics" and "automatic" of the same range. The front suspension of the SsangYong XLV is with MacPherson struts, the rear is independent.
Already in the basic configuration, the SsangYong XLV is equipped with front and side airbags, curtain airbags and a driver's knee airbag. In addition, the crossover has ABS, ESP, EBD (brake force distribution), ARP (active rollover protection), ESS (emergency braking alarm), anti-recoil system, air conditioning, cruise control and heated front seats. In addition, the “base” includes electrically adjustable and heated mirrors, power windows for all doors, active front seat head restraints, fog lights, LED daytime running lights, R16 alloy wheels and other equipment.
In Ukraine, SsangYong XLV is only available with front-wheel drive. Crossover production is organized in South Korea.
