ssangyong Rexton W- offered on the Ukrainian market exclusively with diesel engines. The base engine is a 2.7-liter XDi turbo unit (165 hp and 340 Nm). Cars with this engine in the Reg and STD-1 trims are content with a rigidly connected front axle and a solid rear axle, and in the DLX and DLX-1 versions, the cars get permanent all-wheel drive. Gearboxes - five-speed manual or five-speed automatic.

With another more powerful 2.7 XVT engine (186 hp and 402 Nm), paired with an automatic transmission, the SsangYong Rexton W has an independent rear suspension and an automatically connected all-wheel drive transmission. In addition, only in this version, you can choose not only five, but seven-seater interior design.

The Korean SUV is also offered with a 2.0-liter D20DTR turbodiesel (155 hp and 360 Nm), a 5-speed T-Tronic automatic transmission with manual gear shifting, a plug-in front axle and a solid axle rear suspension.

In the basic versions, only ABS and EBD are ready to insure the driver, in the middle and top trim levels, stabilization systems, traction control, rollover protection, emergency braking assistance and movement on descents will come to the rescue. In addition, if the cheapest versions have the right to rely only on frontal pillows, then all the rest are also supposed to have side ones in addition.

Ground clearance SsangYong Rexton W is 206 mm. The model was produced by the SKD method at the KrASZ plant in Kremenchug. After stopping the production of passenger cars at the Ukrainian plant, SsangYongs are delivered from South Korea.
